About us
Best Day Ever walks are led by father-daughter team, Liz and Mike. Experienced walkers and passionate about the benefits of spending time in the countryside, we love taking the groups out to explore different areas of Hertfordshire. Our extensive knowledge of the footpaths and byways of the county means that you can focus on relaxing, enjoying the scenery, and socialising with like-minded people.
"Wonderful group of people to take a leisurely evening stroll with. With different walks of 3 to 4 miles, it's made my Tuesday evening a great time to relax and get some much needed air. It doesn't seem to matter who you're walking with, there's easy chat to be had with any of the members and I've been finding out how lovely some of our local scenery is. Even though I've lived here all my life, I've found so many new places and great views to see."

“This group has been a ‘breath of fresh air’ in more ways than one! Firstly, the wonderful scenic walks - so well thought out and prepared by the organisers. Secondly, enabling me to take time out for myself, from sometimes very stressful times. Thirdly, I have met a wonderful group of people to talk with, share experiences with, help with solutions to things in life as we ‘walk and talk’ and who have made me laugh! I feel we really care about each other. The ongoing links through social media have helped in lockdown times too and we have still felt connected despite being unable to meet and walk. "I really enjoy the wellbeing walks organised by Best Day Ever! Liz and Mike are friendly, welcoming and make sure everyone is comfortable and happy at all times, even providing delicious homemade baking for breaks during the walk. I love getting out for fresh air and exploring new scenic walks with like-minded people, all of whom are great company; it’s a nice touch finishing the walk by a pub where those of us who would like to can go for a meal after working up an appetite along the way. In my experience the walks are well researched, planned and organised and you feel that you’re in safe hands. I would definitely recommend these walks for anyone who would like to keep active and explore more of the local countryside with a friendly group of people."
